Healing

Jesus Christ the Messiah or Saviour was known for His powerful healing ministry. Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Where ever Jesus encountered sickness, disease or demonic oppression He ministered complete healing and wholeness to the person.

Matthew 4:23-24 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

All sickness, disease and infirmity has come about because of the CURSE and this curse can only be removed, destroyed and dissolved by the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Bible is full of scriptures that point towards the healing power of God and in particular the use of the Name of Jesus when praying for the sick.

Jesus Christ bestowed the same authority to save, heal and deliver to His disciples Mark 6:12-13 and also to the whole Christian Church Mark 16:15-18.

The Bible clearly instructs believers who are sick to seek out ministry for their healing from the Elder’s of the Church James 5:13-15.

Psalm 107:20 He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.

At Awesome Church we believe and practice very strongly the anointing to pray for the sick and they shall recover. We continue to pray for the sick and oppressed either physically, mentally or emotionally every Sunday and we encourage you to come and receive ministry.
